The Himalayan Language Institute is the result of plenty of diffrent developments as well as of personal expierences.

2006 Dietmar Bahner took his first hindi lessons with Mrs. Kanchan Shukla. After he went back to germany he continued learning by text and voice chat. He recognized that it is possible to fullfill his language needs also by this way.

This way of learning is so effectiv that Mr. Dietmar Bahner improved his hindi knowledge in a short period. By face to face internet classes, using headset and camera you are (kindly) forced to insert all senses. That why it is most effectiv.

2007 Dietmar Bahner, Kanchan Shukla and Devendra Singh Chauhan established the Himalayan Language Institute PVT. Ltd. In Rishikesh India. They started to teach Hindi via Internet but also in their own classrooms in Rishikesh. Since that time the number of Internet Students has been increased continously so they are now teaching people from diffrent countries all over the world.

Actually Dietmar Bahner and Kai Matussik, who has become a new member of the HLI – Team in 2009 are developing a modul system for the english-online-teaching which can be included in the programms of already existing Language Institutes or be implementated in advanced education programms of companies.
